5th year BArch student, 2025
University of Tennessee Knoxville
I’m a fifth-year architecture student approaching graduation. I’m looking to discover my next chapter in a place where I can continue to learn and gain experience. I bring a creative and adaptable approach to design, envisioning how the built environment will be experienced from sketches to construction documents. I am detail-oriented and enjoy working on all aspects of a project, exterior and interior.
I have been intrigued by design since I was little, helping my grandfather renovate an old farmhouse that had been in my family for generations.  As a child, I spent my spare time designing floor plans and picking out finishes for imaginary places. I was and am enthralled by history and the stories buildings can tell. I marveled at all the details in my childhood friend's historic home, waiting for the day I would learn more. I constantly imagine ways to use space, whether by improving circulation or reprogramming. This has been largely shaped by how I observe people in space, seeing and hearing what would positively impact their daily lives.
Moving forward I would love to gain more knowledge and experience working on projects that seek to adapt and restore what already exists. I am interested in how design can impact the natural environment, and shape the physical and psychological aspects of life. I would like to work on a team that uses architecture and design as a way to positively impact people and communities.
